I stayed at the Urban Camper Hostel in Copenhagen in a 4-person female room (or tent) for 4 nights during the winter season, and this is my experience. Would I recommend you to stay there as well?
Where to book
First of all, I booked my stay on the Hostelworld app about a month before my visit. This is because of an app deal that Hostelworld had and because of their social function. Booking .com offers a similar price. I would recommend to check the website of the hostel itself as well. Sometimes their website offers a lower price or a different benefit for booking on there.
The interesting concept
The concept of the hostel was very interesting to me. You basically get assigned to a tent which is in a large room with many other tents. You share the bathrooms with the people in the other tents, of which the doors are in the same room. I did not mind this at all, but my tent was pretty close to the bathroom doors, which, when opened, brought a lot of sound in the tent area.
Prices
My stay was from wednesday until sunday. What I noticed is that the nightly price of a bed increases in the weekend because of demand. As of now (January 2026), you would pay 510 DKK (€68,25 or $79,70) for 4 nights for a 4-person tent, which is divided as around 115 DKK per night during the week and 140 DKK during the weekends. The prices differ quite a lot according to demand, so check out their own website for the actual price division during your potential stay. This division is not shown in Hostelworld. Overall, I think this is a great price for an expensive city like Copenhagen.
Pros and cons
Here are all of the pro's and con's of staying at Urban Camper Hostel, Copenhagen.

Would I recommend Urban Camper Hostel?
Yes, I would. The location, cleanliness and staff were great and I slept well in the tent. The only thing I would like to warn others about is the socializing part. If you are looking to meet a lot of people or use the common area a lot, this might not be the right place. The (comfortable) seating is very limited and there are not many activities during the winter period. Luckily, there are many people who book via Hostelworld, so it is still possible to find travel buddies in this hostel.
Thank you for reading this post and enjoy your time in Copenhagen!
